cooper sells 41 cooper square to shake shack

41 Cooper Square as the new Shake Shack Location

In a last-ditch attempt to rid Cooper Union of the mesh monstrosity, the Cooper Union Board of Trustees voted to sell the 41 Cooper SQ building to Shake Shack. All engineering classes will now take place in Shake Shack's former residence at 51 Astor Place.
